WARDROBE TIPS:
Finding the perfect outfit for location!
Girl! It is not as hard as it sounds. Here are some quick examples:
If your location is urban, dress urban! Give yourself an edge with a hat, bold jewelry, use of logo on a tshirt, a blouse, a holey pair of jeans, and some wedges/heels/tennis shoes.
If your location is natural, stay natural! Grab those flowy dresses, florals, big sun hats, and beautiful sandals. Heck! We can even go barefoot.
Don’t worry if this information doesn’t solve everything! If you have any remaining questions, we can set up a wardrobe consultation. For example, for Kennedy above, I matched the location to the dress. It can work both ways!
TEXTURE TEXTURE TEXTURE
Take a look at this photos of Brooklyn above. This is a PERFECT example of what to do. Notice her leather pants, sparkle top, and shiny heels. It brings the image to life!
All of this texture adds so much interest to the photo!
Texture examples: Jean, Velvet, Satin, Leather, Chiffon, Knit, Sheer, etc.
Accessories Galore!!
Accessories make or break a photo! Even if they are small, any pieces of statement jewelry that make you YOU are a must! Why?
Accessories add SO much texture and interest to a photo. They give a viewer more to look at for SURE.
I am firm believer that you can not over accessorize yourself. Trust me.
EXAMPLE: Accessories does not automatically mean jewelry. In the above example, Haley put bows on her pigtails. It was an AWESOME decision!

The Complimentary Color Wheel!
Since you will know your locations ahead of time, try to follow the color wheel.
If you are using a colorful mural, I suggest wearing white or black.
If you are going to the sunflower field or yellow wildflowers, I suggest purple!
Follow this simple, complimentary guideline:
Red and Green
Orange and Blue
Yellow and Purple
Layers are always the answer!
Layers are amazing in EVERY SEASON! They even end up being props. You can’t go wrong with layers!!
Bring things that make you YOU!!
Bring things that make you YOU! Sport awards, pets, books, hobbies, etc. We want these to scream you.
Question: Is there such thing as too matchy?
Yes! Avoid using too much of the same color across your outfits. You will want to give yourself a ray of different looks to give your album and prints such variety.
